Attention all incoming 1L's! We have a workshop especially for you! (And any other students who wish to brush up on study skills!) The Law Library wants you to be successful, so we've created a new workshop...Tips & Tricks for Success!

This 30 minute workshop will introduce you to searching effectively with the Law Library's catalog, and show you how to register and use AudioCaseFiles (listen to your cases!!) and CALI (online quizzes to help with your studies!).

A librarian will be available to help you with any other questions you may have (help with Westlaw or Lexis perhaps?) following the workshop.

Join us (click on the dates to RSVP):

An RSVP is helpful but not required. We hope to see you there!! Sealed

As always, if you have any questions feel free to contact us by email or (602) 682-6898! For upcoming workshops this semester visit www.phoenixlaw.edu/libraryworkshops and www.phoenixlaw.edu/librarycalendar.

New Services @ Your Law Library: Study Room Reservations

by Sarah Prosory 13. January 2011 11:49

A new service the Law Library is implementing is Study Room Reservations. Beginning on Tuesday, January 18th 2011, students will have the option to reserve the study rooms in the Law Library and Buildings B & D. A reservation is not required.

However, in order to use the study rooms in the Law Library, you must first visit the Circulation Desk to see if the room is reserved and to check-out the room before occupying it. For study room use in Buildings B & D, check the study room's door for any notices of reservations. No need to check-out a study room that is located in Buildings B & D.

Study rooms can be reserved for a maximum of 2 hours. A group of students takes priority over an individual student.

This policy has changed.

Please see our website at www.phoenixlaw.edu/studyrooms for the complete policy.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Circulation Desk at (602) 682-6897 or email.

Happy studying! Laughing

New Services @ Your Law Library: Book Drop

by Sarah Prosory 11. January 2011 13:48

Welcome new students, and welcome back current students! We truly hope you enjoyed the holiday break!

Your Law Library has been busy with planning new services for you!

We've installed a Book Drop in the Student Lounge/Loft on the first floor of the Tower. This Book Drop is for you to use especially afterhours when the library has closed, but when you don't want to lug the book home with you. Our only request is that you don't drop Course Reserve materials in the Book Drop. Since Course Reserve material circulates for 2 hours at a time, we don't want your books to be late!

Any questions regarding the Book Drop, call or visit the Circulation Desk (602) 682-6897 or email.
