Please join a Student Library Focus Group to identify ways in which the Library might improve services, online resources, book collections, loan periods, customer service, or anything else! This is the first-ever Student Focus Group session and we welcome your feedback. The session will be hosted by the Interim Library Director and lunch/dinner will be provided.
The focus group will be limited to 20 students.
The sessions will be held in Room 1821.
1L Day Students are invited to the session on Monday, November 14 at 12:15.
1L Evening Students are invited to the session on Monday, November 14 at 5:00.
Those who contribute to the discussion will be entered into a raffle for a $50 Visa gift card!

With the beginning of a new month, October, we put up two new book displays. Check out some of the titles on the picture below and come down to the Library at 4041 to actually check out the the items to read or watch!
Our second display supports our contest for OUT-OF-THE-BOX suggestions for the Library to implement at our new campus. Submit your suggestions by COMMENTING on the contest posting:

Fall break hours for Library at 4041:
Sat. & Sun., Oct. 1 & 2, CLOSED
Mon. through Fri., Oct. 3-7, 8-9 pm
Fall break hours for Library at ONC (One North Central):
Mon. through Frid., Oct. 3-7, CLOSED
**All other days that week - regular hours**
Students from ONC can access the 4041 campus by checking out one of two badges that either gives parking and building access or just building access. Further between 8-6pm a badge is not needed to access the Library. Additional parking is available on the south side of Indianola.

The Law Library has taken down the popular Feminism Book Display that was up for most of the summer. In its place we now have the Animal Law Display. Check out an image of the display below:
Generally, the Library has three displays at any given time. The second display is the Banned Books Display.
Lastly, the Library has a display entitled New Arrivals. This display features the artwork for the newest arrivals. Actual books are found in the general collection. You can find the call number for the book you are interested in reading by searching the Library catalog on the PhoenixLaw website. Use the catalog enough times and you will become an expert at deciphering the set up of the Library of Congress Cataloguing system.
