New Arrivals Display

by PSL Law Library 28. February 2011 14:24

Have you ever wondered what new books are in the library?  Well now you can find out by checking the “New Arrivals” display.  The display is located between the circulation desk and the Academic Success collection.  It contains the book jackets to the most of books that have arrived recently.  Once you locate a title that interests you head over to the catalog to get the location and call number.  From there you can grab the book and make a quick trip to the circulation desk to check it out.  Happy Reading!

Ready for Spring Break??

by Library 27. February 2011 19:59

Does this beach look relaxing? With one more week of class before Spring Break, why not consider a getaway!

Check out the U.S. News & World Report list of Best Cheap Spring Break Destinations. Alternatively, take a trip up north in our own great state and visit the Grand Canyon.

No matter what you do, though, leave those books at home and take a mental break from school. Enjoy your family, friends, or just a little rest and relaxation!

Two Trial Databases From BNA

by Sarah Prosory 25. February 2011 11:25

Hi all! Happy Friday!

The Law Library would like your feedback on two databases we have on a trial period from BNA: the Internet Law Resource Center and the Telecommunications Law Resource Center. We only have these on trial for 15 days beginning today, so be sure to test them out soon!

The Internet Law Resource Center covers major topics such as: consumer protection laws, copyright and trademark issues, cryptography, database protection, electronic signatures, domain name disputes, network security, online marketing, privacy, taxation, internet governance, and more!

The Telecommunications Law Resource Center covers major topics such as: broadcasting, wireless communications, cable TV, broadband regulation, retransmission consent, media ownership, satellite services, net neutrality, and more!

Please visit the Law Library's Database Trial Subscriptions wiki to access the trials. You will need to log-in to Juristec to view the wiki (only faculty, staff, and students of PSL can access this).

Thanks! Have a great weekend!
