Phoenix School of Law

In Their Own Words

"I love the flow of energy at PhoenixLaw. They offer an atypical legal education; with a student-centered, practice ready approach to teaching and commitment of faculty, staff and students."

Judge Penny Willrich, Director Lawyering Process

Information Resources Center

The Information Resources Center is committed to a learning experience that is student-centered and creates practice-ready graduates. Our collection of online, audio, and print materials is designed to support the curriculum and research needs of our students and faculty.

Members of the PhoenixLaw community have access to several electronic resources including Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw, HeinOnline, LegalTrac, and select BNA and CCH databases. These databases are available not only on campus but also off campus through our proxy server. The IRC is continuously expanding our collection and will alert the PhoenixLaw community as new resources are purchased.

Our physical collection includes primary and secondary legal resources, including case reporters, statutes, digests, legal encyclopedias, finding aids, treatises, and practice materials. The IRC has collected multiple formats (print, electronic, audio, etc.) and some resources may be accessible in a variety of ways. We have also acquired print and audio study aids to assist students with course work.

The IRC is open the same hours as the building. Normal hours are:

Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - midnight
Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
