Collectively, they are experienced in nearly every aspect of the legal profession and have garnered awards and accolades for their accomplishments by our profession’s top institutions. Ann E. Woodley

Ann E. Woodley, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Associate Professor of Law

Associate Dean Woodley received a B.A. summa cum laude (with a double major: Political Science and Journalism) from the University of Arizona, and a J.D. cum laude from the Arizona State University College of Law.

Kim Demarchi, Adjunct Professor

A partner in Lewis and Roca’s Litigation Group, Adjunct Professor Demarchi represents public, private, and non-profit clients in civil appeals and in the litigation of complex matters.


Daniel J. Dye

Daniel J. Dye, Assistant Professor of Law

Daniel J. Dye teaches Lawyering Process I & II, and Torts II. He is an alumnus of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.


Mitchell Fleischmann

Mitchell Fleischmann, Coordinator of Lawyering Process; Assistant Professor of Law

Mitchell Fleischmann is a double alumnus of the University of Arizona. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor Science degree cum laude with an emphasis in criminal justice.

Assistant Professor Fordham graduated from the University of Utah magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts in English and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.


Stephen A. Gerst

Judge Stephen Gerst was on the superior court for twenty-one years and has served in every major assignment including civil, criminal, juvenile, and domestic relations.

Professor Kane received her B.A. in Education, with a major in Art from Arizona State University in 1974, and her J.D. from ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 1994.

Alan is an adjunct professor teaching juvenile law. He is a practicing attorney with the law firm of Bustamante & Kuffner, P.C. Alan’s private practice is concentrated in criminal law.

Professor Pease-Wingenter received a B.A. (French and Spanish) from the University of Texas at Austin, a J.D. cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, as well as an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Houston Law Center.

MaryAnn Pierce, Director of Clinical Programs & Associate Professor of Law

MaryAnn comes to PhoenixLaw with more than 12 years of clinical law experience. She has written three books and numerous articles for judges, practitioners, and the general public--priding herself on a "plain language" style.
